Pre-pandemic, Lens Fest existed as a small gathering of developers at Snap headquarters to celebrate the AR creator community at Snapchat. But when the time came to stay home, Snapchat asked our team to re-imagine the experience into an online festival complete with keynotes, tutorials, panels, awards, and more.
We re-branded the event, devised the programming strategy, produced, edited, and launched with more than six hours of content over three days. This behemoth lift was a smashing success, elevating attendance from 50 people to over 5,000, and resulting in a multi-year partnership with Snap to continue to leverage the Lens Fest event into a key marketing moment for Snap AR.
